Information we collect
When you contact us, request an estimate, use Flor chat, call or text us, or work with us on a project, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, property address, building and roof details, photographs, messages, preferred contact method, appointment information, and records related to an estimate or service.
Our website may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, cookie identifiers, security signals, and form-submission data.

- Operate Flor chat and route a conversation to a team member when needed.
- Measure and improve website performance and understand how visitors find us.

Consent and your choices
We obtain consent in a manner appropriate to the information and purpose. Submitting a form or starting a chat authorizes us to use the information to respond to that request. We will seek additional consent before using personal information for a materially different purpose unless the law permits otherwise.
You may withdraw consent for future optional use by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. You can also limit cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some website features.
Website and service providers
We use service providers to operate the website and communications. These may include WordPress and Elementor for website and form functionality; Google Analytics for traffic measurement; Google reCAPTCHA for spam and abuse prevention; and Flor Tel Inc. for AI-assisted website chat, lead intake and service-management tools. Email, telephone, text-message, hosting, security and professional-service providers may also process information on our behalf.
Some providers may process or store information outside British Columbia or Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. Providers are permitted to use information only for the services they supply to us, subject to their contracts and applicable law. Google’s practices are described in its privacy policy.
Flor AI assistant
Flor can answer general questions and collect details for an enquiry. AI-generated answers may be incomplete and are not a roofing inspection, engineering opinion, binding estimate or emergency service. Do not submit banking records, identity documents, health information or other sensitive material through general chat or contact forms. Ask for a team member whenever you prefer human assistance.
When we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers working for us, contractors or professionals involved in a requested project, insurers or advisers, or authorities when required or permitted by law. We may also disclose information in connection with a business reorganization or transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above and for applicable legal, insurance, tax, warranty and dispute-resolution requirements. We then securely delete, destroy or anonymize it where appropriate.
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use a verified secure channel before sending sensitive documents.
Access, correction and privacy concerns
You may ask to access or correct personal information in our custody or control, subject to exceptions in applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before responding. British Columbia’s private-sector privacy regulator explains these rights on the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner website.
Watershed Roofing follows applicable privacy requirements, including British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act and, where applicable, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices, service providers or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
